PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: XP
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



My windows now wont load and i get message saying that the System 32 file is missing or corrupt and i need the windows installation CD to fix this.

My friend who had a Dell computer, I tried to use her CD but this didnt work on my Toshiba system. Is there any other way to fix this without having to find my CD.

No, so go find your CD. In all probability, your CD comes with all the correct drivers for your PC.

Or you tell us exactly what file is missing, for the error you say suggests that the whole System32 folder is missing. More or less half your 32bit drivers are in that folder, so yes, Windows would be quite upset if the thing went missing.

The file which is missing is called System I think.

Do you not have the Recovery CD that came with the Toshiba?
All the files you need will be on it.
If not you will need to get in touch with Toshiba Support.
