PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 98
Problem Application Name & Version:Internet Explorer
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Linksys cable modem and router
Error Messages:session timed out

I am having a problem that many readers will not believe. If it wasn't happening to me, I wouldn't believe it either. I have recently switched to cable access. I am using a Linksys BEFCMU10 cable modem and a Linksys BEFW11S4 wireless router. Since I have installed this, we have not been able to get on to my schools website or the website of the company my wife works for. We both do web pages for these sites and also have not been able to connect via ftp. Before I switched to cable we were able to access these sites. These are the only 2 sites that we have not been able to get on. I can surf any other web sites on the internet. I have talked to my ISP and they are stumped. Any suggestions?

Does you Linksys router have a built-in firewall? If so check the settings to allow FTP
