Operating System Version: Windows XP Home Edition
Problem Application Name & Version: computer doesn't recognize drive
Problem Hardware Make & Model: ZIP 250
Error Messages: "Please insert disk into Drive G"

My computer recently got infected with some lousy spyware and, in the middle of the frustrating fixing process, we deleted a needed file and had to reboot Windows.  Not a huge deal, as we only lost some music.  However, in the process, my ZIP drive stopped working and the disk is no longer readable.  I tried the disk - which was in the drive at the time of the reboot - at my work and it doesn't work there, either.  Nothing else happened to the disk or the drive aside from this spyware issue.  How do I get my disk and drive to work again?  Any help would be wonderful.  Thanks much...

Have you tried a different disk in the drive and does the drive need any drivers of it's own? Check the device manager to see if it;s listed there, if it is there are there any yellow exclaimation marks beside it??
