I have a windows 98 and it doesnt read my gateway 64MB Flash Drive (USB Mass Storage Device) I need a driver for it but I dont know where I can download it. Thank you...Sad

It shouldn't need a driver, but more like correct USB drivers. Now Windows 98 is not a good platform for good USB drivers, although you should be able to find them through WIndows Update.

But I suspect there's a compatibility problem at hand here. According to Gateway's site on this product, it's compatible with Windows Millennium, 2000 and XP only, because these have the proprietary drivers for this USB device built in.

I too have a Gateway computer, Windows 98.   Just purchased a new Gateway, Windows XP.  Bought Gateway Flash Drive 2.0.  Unfortunately the Windows 98 USB is 1.0.  Is there any drivers to make the Windows 98 USB 1.0 read the USB 2.0?   Is there any thing to convert the 1.0 to a 2.0?   I need to xfer the data from the old computer to the new computer.
