I just bought a ps2 keyboard from a store and when I got it back home and hooked it up it doesn't work? why doesn't it work can anyone please help me!!

I'm assuming that you have it plugged into the right port? If your old keyboard worked fine and you have the new one plugged in properly then I'd say the new one is knackered.

It is possible, that if it is one of them newfangled Internet keyboards, with extra bells, whistles, lights, alarms, buttons & knobs, that you need to install drivers for it. Why not let us know what brand & model keyboard it is?

Plugging it in into the mouseport won't help though. Make sure it is plugged in into the keyboard port. (usually designated purple in colour)
