Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: western digital caviar 24300
Error Messages:

one day i rebooted and my fat32 was missing, and now im just trying to get all my files off of it before formatting, i heard theres a program called hdr data somethin er another, that can get stuff off of messed up hard drives, problem is it costs 485$ so i heard if i turn it intoa slave drive i can get it off, and i followed the right procedures to make it a slave drive, but my computer cant find it =/ its like more than one problem in one =T if anyone can tell me what i can do to get information off this drive, please help me
