When you insert the CD into the drive, hold down the shift
key for a few seconds.  Once the disk is indexed/initialized (2 to 10 seconds depending on your comp) you can let off the shift key.  This will temporarily bypass autorun.


If you are comfortable editing the registry
edit the key
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
and change the Autorun value from 1 to 0 (Zero)
