PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:win222
Problem Application Name & Version:win2000
Problem Hardware Make & Model:amd
Error Messages:

I have purchased an unused new Win 2000Pro OS from a company that went chap11. I have the 14 letter Cert. of Auth. that came affixed on the cd, but do not have the 25 letter code that the setup disk asks for when attempting to install the OS. It seems that the 25 letter comes affixed to the manuel and that is not available at this time.
Is there anyway to get this 25 letter code or is there another way to load the OS ?

Thanks,
JH

Hi,

You need the Product Key to install Windows. If you purchased the CD, they should have given it to you and therefore, I would get them to give it to you. If you cannot because their Office is now closed, the only legal way would be to contact Microsoft and see what they say but I think they will tell you to buy a legal copy!

The intrinsic nature of your problem can easily be solved, wouldn't you agree Jeff.
