Operating System Version:win98
Problem Application Name & Version:outlook express
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



i have mail in my outlook express which is in outbox. when i click on outbox to delete this message, my system hangs.

You're Outbox may be corrupted. Search your hard drive for "outbox.dbx", close Outlook and rename the file (e.g. outbox.bak)
Please note that this will recreate the outbox file which will be empty.

I don't use Outlook express, but usually there is a toc files associated with the outbox, have you tried deleting the toc (Table Of Content) file as well?

If you renamed Outbox.dbx and the message is still there, then you did not delete the correct file. Try a search again.
