Operating System Version: Windows XP Home
Problem Application Name & Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

For those of you who have it, you may have noticed that Comcast High Speed Internet Homepage has been completely re-worked. This morning I downloaded and installed an update to Mozilla Firefox. It was working fine this morning, but now for some reason, Firefox does not like opening the comcast homepage. I can access it alright using internet explorer, but it gets stuck at the "loading preferences" screen on Firefox. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? or maybe this is just a glitch that Firefox needs to work out, or what? I have thought of uninstalling Firefox and installing the older version again, but I don't want to do that if I don't necessarily have to.

Have you tried purging your cache, then exiting Firefox completely (also the quick launch) and then restarting it again? If the page is http://www.comcast.com/ I must say it loads fine in my Mozilla Suite 1.8b2.

To delete the cache go Edit, Preferences, Privacy, Clear Cache button.

Shortly after I posted this topic, the problem corrected itself. Sorry for any inconvenience.
