PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Gateway Pentium II, Windows 98, 128RAM
Problem Application Name & Version:Adaware SE 1.05
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

I've been using Adaware Personal SE 1.05 for some time with reliable performance.  The past 3 days however, I'm getting a message box saying my updates are over 16 days old, do I want to check for the lastest updates.  I always check yes, connect, yet there are no new updates.  I assume I have the latest version of Adaware.  It has this note on the main box saying Adaware SE Personal 1.05 now available.  Well, I already have it, so I wonder what is going on with these notes I get and no new updates?

Thanks so much!

Try un-installing the version you have then re-install it,run it,then Update it.

See if that works.

Well, ratz!  I did the reinstall, all went smoothly, it got some updates, but would you believe, after getting the updates, up pops the same stupid box saying my updates are 16 days old, would I like ot get new ones?  Of course, when I checked again, it said no new ones available.  So, I don't know what is going on.  I will either get new updates when they are available or not.

Did my best.

I'm wondering if Spybot alone would take care of this stuff?  I've always heard, however, that what one misses, the other one will catch.

It must be a bug in Ad-Aware because it happens to me as well... Lips Sealed

Maybe someone else can shed some light on the issue for both of us .. Grin
