PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: XP
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

I believe I opened a phishing e-mail and since then my Internet Explorer started to get really, really slow. I scanned these spyware's and cleaned up my computer:

SPYSWEEPER
CWSHREDDER
SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY
SPYSUBTRACT
AD-AWARE
SPYWARE BLASTER and I run
NORTON ANTI-VIRUS everyday.

and even went out and purchased a Utilities software called SYSTEM MECHANICS 5. I even changed my default browser to Firefox and I still have the same problem. It takes FOREVER to go to any site and brows within the site.

Why is this happenening? I've deleted or quarenteened all my found infections. I thought I was okay once the infections were found and deleted!

I consider myself semi-computer literate so please, when you give me advise this into consideration...

Any help or advise would be soooo apreciated. I cannot surf the internet like before and it's very frustrating.

Please read through this thread before going further and then post a fresh HJT log in a new thread here.

There's probably more than meets the eye residing on your system and must be removed manually.

Locked as there's no need for the cross posting on the forum.
