PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

I need help getting onto my Hotmail acct. Microsoft's support site says that if you are having trouble with your Hotmail acct, that you should log in and go to the Help section.
That would be great if I could log on to my acct! However every time I type in my user name and password, I am taken to http://hipservice.passport.net/forc......Hs4c%24&ic=1033 where I am asked to type in what appears in the picture. I have done this repeatedly without success.
What is going on?!!! If this is some new Hotmail security thing, then it is obviously NOT working. Or perhaps I have been infected and redirected to this site.
I went to a chat room where there are lots of other people having the same problem. However no one seems to have a solution.
Any ideas out there? Cry

Hi mpetrodoc .. sounds like something nasty .. Lips Sealed .. we'll leave this Thread open just incase we need to return .. Wink

Download Hijackthis Ver. 1.99.1
---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here in SECURITY & VIRESES... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.

Your log has been taken care of in the Security and Viruses forum, go there and search for it, then take the appropriate steps there. I'm locking this thread until you've done it right.
