PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 98
Problem Application Name & Version: IE6
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



I'm having problems with my IE6 (most pop-up windows are blank).
I've been informed to uninstall IE6 and install IE5,does this cause any problems? And is it easy to do? (I'm an extreme newbie)Embarrassed

Can I install Netscape as well as IE?

yes u can install IE and NETSCAPE. uninstalling and installing new IE does not cause any problem and is also easy. all u have 2 do is go into ur control panel>ADD/REMOVE NEW HARDWARE, check for IE6 and click REMOVE. but before that download IE5.5 with 128 bit Encryption from microsoft site. restart ur system n install new IE

Please note that IE 5.0 had security vulnerabilities and you should go at a minimum with IE 5.5 with the latest Service Pack.
