Hi, I am running Win98 SE. My problem is that when I click on certain icons, such as recycle bin,my computer, I get an error message that explorer has perfromed an illegal operation with the code
SHPRRPRT.dll.
Everything can be run from the run command on the start menu.

Hi watson6 .. Smiley

Set Windows to show Hidden files and folders
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

First Goto START>RUN

Type or Copy/Paste the line below into the Run Box:

regsvr32 /u SHPRRPRT.DLL << HIT OK

Now ...

Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

SHPRRPRT.dll.
Everything can be run from the run command on the start menu.

start in MSDOS go to cd progra~1 then cd shoppe~1 then cd bin then del shprrprt.dll the message will tell you that shprrprt.dll does not exist.
 type exit. Widows will start as normal. go to FIND under C find shprrprt then delete it. Everything should be back to normal. If not go to MSDOS and delete shoppe~1
