PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: XP
Problem Application Name & Version: IE last version
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Hello,

I've written before because I had a problem with a dialer and this toolbar. Although the dialer has been definitively deleted from my computer, the toolbar, called MySearch, which had disappeared temporarily, has soon come back... Sad
The toolbar appears at the bottom of my screen when I open an IE window, cannot be closed and will remain on my screen even if I shut IE. It is also accompanied by some links which appear in my favourites and are also impossible to delete.

Could you please help me to get rid of it?
This is my Hijack log, thanks in advance.

You need to look for these two folders and delete them. You might find them in Add/Remove or if not,in your file system.

C:\Windows\Programs\MySearch
C:\Windows\Programs\Toolbar

Mysearch Uninstall step1: Uninstalling 'My Search Bar', 'MyWay Speed Bar' by selecting it from 'Add/Remove Programs' in the Control Panel.
Mysearch Uninstall step2: For the MyWeb variant, be sure to also remove 'Fun Web Products Easy Installer'.
Mysearch Uninstall step3: Reset your home page if it has been changed, and search settings by choosing Internet Options->Programs->Reset web settings in your Internet Explorer.

Mysearch Uninstall step4: Remove these registry items (if present) HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{014da6c9-189f-421a-88cd-07cfe51cff10} HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{014da6cd-189f-421a-88cd-07cfe51cff10}

This program will also remove it....

Hi again,

I can't find any of the files in C:\Windows. Neither do the programs MySearch Bar or MyWay Speed Bar exist on my computer.
Furthermore, I can't download the software you advised me. It will start downloading and then cut the downloading process...
As a result I couldn't execute any of the steps...
I've tried many things and read various instructions to get rid of this Toolbar, but nothing will work...

I hope you can help me.

If you have not used these, give them a go.

Download and run Adaware,SpyBot (check for updates) for a preliminary cleanup first. Some files below may not be present after running the above programs.Full instructions below.

How to setup Ad-Aware[/COLOR]

Download Ad-Aware
Save aawsepersonal.exe into its own directory, NOT in a TEMPorary folder or on the Desktop. I recommend c:/program files/Adaware/
Doubleclick aawsepersonal.exe. Make sure to direct the program to install in the c:/program files/adaware/ directory, NOT the default directory.
Open AdAware from Start | Programs | Lavasoft | AdAware.
Select <Check for updates now>, <Proceed>
After installation, run the program and click the start button. Then click the next button. This lets ad-aware scan your computer.
After ad-aware is done running, hit the next button. Then right click the area with the listed spy ware objects.Choose the "Select all objects" option.
At this point all the boxes next to the items should be checked. Then hit the next button.
It will ask if you want to delete the selected objects. Hit the Okay button.
Now most of the spyware should have been deleted from your hard drive.

How to setup and run SpyBot

Download from Spybot
Save spybotsd13.exe into its own directory, NOT in a TEMPorary folder or on the Desktop.
I recommend c:/program files/spybot/
Doubleclick spybotsd13.exe. Make sure to direct the program to install in the c:/program files/spybot/ directory, NOT the default directory.
Open Spybot from Start | Programs | Spybot | Spybot S&D
Select <Search for Updates>. Let it install all updates. This is very important!
Select <Immunize>
Select <Check for Problems>
Check all entries that are in RED. Only RED, NOTHING ELSE.
Select <Fix Selected Problems>
Close Spybot//
