PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: XP
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Many problems here firstly my web page often changes to a search engine with 'horseserver' in the address bar. It often searches for things like viagra or lesbians. Another problem is a program called Security Iguard has installed itself and does so everytime i uninstall and the same goes for Virus Hunter Security and Spyware hunter. Another minor irritation is that whenever I turn on my computer a windows installer appears trying (and failing) to install a language pack -Id like to get rid of this but it is not as urgent as the other problems.

Here is my HJT log:

Hello and Welcome to TSF

Sorry for the delay if you are still needing assistance please follow these instructions

Download / Install / Update / and Run:
Adaware SE check for any updates before running it.
Get the plug-in for fixing VX2 variants. You can download it at this SITE
To run this tool, install to the hard drive, then open Ad-aware->Add-ons and select VX2 Cleaner. Then click Run Tool and OK to start it. If it's clean, it will say Status System Clean. Otherwise, you will have to click on the Clean button to remove the VX2 infection.

Download and install Spybot S&D . Run Spybot and click on the 'Search for Updates' button. Install any updates that are available. Next click on the 'Check for Problems' button. Let it run the scan. If it finds something, check all those in RED and hit the Fix Selected Problems button. Exit Spybot. If you keep getting the DSO Exploit entries, even after you updated Windows and fixed them, then download the Spybot DSO Exploit Fix and install it over the current Spybot installation.

Scan your pc with one of these free online scanners:
Panda ActiveScan
RAV AntiVirus
Housecall.  Be sure to put a check the box beside AutoClean.

Please download/run the ISTBar removal tool from Symantec.
The removal tool will reset the Internet start page to a blank page. The start page can be modified by clicking on Tools > Internet Options in Internet Explorer.

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there.  Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link don't work),install and run it.

Please post a fresh Hijack This log using this newest version HiJackThis 1.99.1
