Operating System Version: Windows xp
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Maxtor 6E040L0
Error Messages:

My computer can't read from one of my harddrives. It can find it (it's listed with the other drives when I start the computer and is also in the Device Manager) but I can't get to it, it's not listed in the "My computer" folder for example. If I press the populate button in the properties-windows it says that the harddrive is unreadable. Also the harddrive is very warm, so I'm guessing it's running all the time.
What can I do?

I mean has it always done this or is this something that has just happened. I mean give me some history here.

I need system, Hardware and software details and what lead up to this...
