Are you sure you get nwis.exe as an error?

Rundll.exe erroring out on Windows XP is a virus. If you had it on Windows 95/98/SE/ME, it would be a system component, but on Windows 2000 and XP DLL files (Dynamic Linked Libraries) are being handled by the scvhost.exe files that you find in the Task Manager.

NWiz.exe is an nVidia system file, part of nVidia's nView for the videocard. Hence why I asked if it was Nwis or Nwiz. If it definitely is NWis.exe you can look above again at virus land.

So for now, move over to http://tech.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=106 and run the Online Antivirus options there. If you haven't reformatted and reinstalled by now, that is. Wink
