I have HP a530n 2.ghz amd Athlon 64 3200
512 RAM w/ GGorce FX 5200 Video Card...I played Doom3 and it was OK...first game I tried so I guess it was...I'm playing Chronicles of Rid**** now and it seemd a little I need to get a better Video card or will upgrading RAM to 1 GB make it better? I'm not a big gammer just stating out...

I would make sure you have the Latest DRIVERS for the Video Card

Also see that you have the Latest DirectX runtime installed.

The 5200 is a good card but I bet you see a big improvement by just upgrading to say the 5700 .. Grin

I run the MSI FX 5700LE 256MB DDR AGP 8X and compliment it with 1024MB PC3200 DDR400 Micron Memory .. Smiley

1 GB of RAM would certainly help!
