Is it precopy1.cab or precopy2.cab? These files are in the win98 dircetory on your CD.

Tip: copy your win98 CD into a directory on C: drive such as c:\win98SE. Then go to www.analogx.com and download a freeware called 'Banish CD', install and run.

This will change your default installation path to c:\win98SE instaed of 'D:' drive.

Hi,

Is Windows operational? If so...

1. A pre-install of Win98 usually copies the CAB files into "c:\windows\options\cabs"
2. If this directory structure doesn't exist, create it.
3. Copy the contents of the "Win98" folder off your Windows installation CD into it.
4. Download Attachment: SourcePath.reg 592
