DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPDATE THE BIOS!!! - unless you are specifically advised to do so by a specialist..
It's one of the few operations that can turn your PC into an expensive doorstop.

Having said that, you also mention 'drivers' - which you should update regularly by going to the hardware manufacturer's website, and following their guides on procedures.

Of prime importance, though, is to go to Windows Updates, and install ALL the Critical updates, and as many of the Recommended updates as you wish to have. The Critical updates will help to keeep you safe from the various nastinesses out on the INternet, and help to keep your system running smoothly

The BIOS is the interface between your OS and the hardware - and is best left alone unless there is a need to do something specific (e.g. add support for a larger hard drive or a faster processor than the BIOS was originally written to handle - or for a bug-fix)

As I said - most important is to keep Windows updated.
