Hi there everyone,

I'm trying to find some other antivirus besides Norton, because it is a resource hog. and messing up my sound card.. I need something that is vary good on protecting my computer from viruses & worms and everything else out these.. and NO AVG OR McAfee!!!!!!!

No AV package can protect your computer indefinitely, if you keep on going to sites that try to upload their package to you as soon as you go there, if you keep on opening attachments to email and if you don't keep the AV-definitions up-to-date, if you don't use a good firewall, if you don't keep the anti virus running in the background.

Remember that for most virus attacks, the AV site first needs to know what's out there before they can countermand it. So no AV package will ever keep your computer completely safe. The only safe way is to disconnect the computer from the internet, shut it down and put it in a box in storage. Meaning that you have a responsibility. You are using the computer.

Kaspersky AntiVirus Personal is one of the best Anti-Viruses on the market...I suggest you go for it.....
