New Forum

Could I suggest a new forum that could help those many thousands of computer users like my self that suffer from computer related health problems such as eye strain, RSI repetative strain injury, fatigue etc.Huh?

I am an industrial designer that specialises in workstation ergonomics and yet I still suffer from these things. As you said "you learn something new every day".

Your site has many hundreds of visitors each day and I think it would be great to see how others can help myself and other fellow suffers with tips, technology and "how to" knowledge that I'm sure will be helpful.

I already have at least 100 questions....What do you think

Hope you realize you probably have more experience that I do in this field, therefore I may not have all the answers!

Hi Sylvain,

Here are those cheat notes that will get you up to speed on the subject. I don't believe that many issues will be beyond what is covered here. Perhaps this could be included as a preamble sticky for the forum, say "General Forum Introduction" just to let users get an idea of what this forum is about.

What do you think?

COMPUTER-RELATED HEALTH PROBLEMS

Introduction:

I think that if many of us were asked what one thing has had the greatest impact on our lives in modern times, we would likely say the computer. Over the past twenty years or so, computers have gone from being monstrous curiosities taking up the entire space in large rooms, to relatively small boxes on almost every desk. Along with smaller size and lower prices has come an explosion in the number of PC

Many thanks
