PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Microsoft WIndows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2
Problem Application Name & Version:Canon Scanner
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Canon CanoScan N670U
Error Messages:Twain wont install.



Twain- pain
Canon CanoScan N670U Scanner ScanGear CS-U Driver v7.0.1.0
I have formatted my hardrive, since then I have been unable to install the ScanGear Driver for it. The cd for the scanner will install programs e.g. ArcSoft Photbase, Ceare Applications,Adobe, but i get a popup when trying to use the ScanGear Toolbox 3. it tell me that the twain is not installed, so far i ve downloaded the driver for it but nothing., it simply dont install the twain thingie.Can anyone help?

The ScanGear CS-U driver is the Twain driver. Maybe you have more luck with the updated driver & toolbox, that you can download from this site. Just keep scrolling down and read the descriptions. (box 8 and 23)

Also, try to install the drivers with the scanner disconnected.
