PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows xp
Problem Application Name & Version:All screen savers
Problem Hardware Make & Model:----
Error Messages:----
When my computer goes into standby for extended periods of time(8-14 hrs.), it has a tendency for the screensaver to stay on(but frozen) until I ctrl, alt, del and cancel... after words applications freeze... I can't run cleaning utilities(I.E. pc rescue).
Adaware scans... registry cleaner scans..ccleaner scans..pc rescue scans.. and all virus scans come up with no results(after restarting.. of coarse)
I have increased my pagefile....
double checked my graphic card configuration...
and a few other options(which i am quickly runing out of....)
Plz... even a starting point would be nice right now

What if you just disable the screensaver option altogether and use the power button on your monitor to switch it off when you leave the computer? It saves on power and the life of your monitor. All it needs is some programming of yourself. Smiley
