Hello guys, first of all to get you guys started, i am a software technician for dell so i know what i am doing. Every time i reboot my computer my internet explorer browser's homepage loads to sogooogle.com, i tried adaware, hijackthis, spybot s&d, cwshredder, but no luck... i went into the registry and rmeoved all the sogooogle pages. I also cleared the cache in internet explorer each time but still no luck. Now i never go to that website so i dont know why it loads up every time i reboot... I installed freepops, ypops, getmail softwares that same day, do you think that's related. I personally don't think it's a spyware but i think it's one of the start up softwares that changes it when the computer loads, so do you guys have any idea on how i can stop it so it doesn't change the homepage...

Thanks guys,

Hello indep and welcome to MyTechSupport.ca

Have you changed your homepage back to your choice after cleaning your pc? If you didnt no matter how many times you clean your pc IE will still open to  sogooogle.com
 IE>Tools>Internet Otpions>Home Page

Why dont you give me a HJT log to look over. I will make sure you didnt miss nothing, not that you did but just to make sure Wink

I have just cured my PC. Go to your > windows > system folder if you have xp or the winnit folder and remove the file named winmouse.exe and you shouldn't have this problem anymore.
