PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows 98 SE
Error Messages: Explorer and a lot of other programs quitting.  (White pop-up box)

I ran Spybot S&D and it came up with these 4 problems:

FastClick
Avenue A, Inc.
FunWebProducts
HitBox

On the first run, it got rid of everything but FunWebProducts and then it asked me to run S&D before windows.  I did.  It finished but it couldn't fix FunWebProducts.  I then hit "immunize" and it said it fixed over 1000 problems.  Here are some of the names it displayed when checking:

-WebInstall
-XRVDialer
-XXXDial
-AdGoblin
-Blasefind
-CoolWWWSearch.AboutBlank
-CoolWWWSearch.Feat2DLL
-CoolWWWSearch.Feat2Installer
-CoolWWWSearch.HomeSearch
-CoolWWWSearch.Leftovers
-CoolWWWSearch.Service
-CrackSpider
-EZ-Searching
-WonderPlus
-s*xList
-PrivateNet
-SComDialers
-RSE721
-RatedXXX
-RasDialer
-Piratos
-MoneyTree
-MainPean
-Libera
-WebtrendsLive
-00SyncNet
-AdultChat
-All-In-One Telcom
-BestDialer
-CarpeDiem Vars
-Dialer_XX
-DirectDialer
-DomesticGermana
-ErosParadise
-Hacker.ag
-IDialer
-InterFun
-InterSysInc
-Zwax
-W32.Igloo
-EmailStealer
-KillAV
-FTPCenter1.3
-Wishbone
-Vx2
-ABetterInternet (which I thought I got rid of before)
-SC-KeyLog
-GoldenPalace.Casino
-UnderageHost
-ShopAtHome
-RapidBlaster
-MediaTickets

That was a SMALL portion.  I couldn't write the others down fast enough.  Some of them looked like trojan horse names but AVG isn't seeing anything.

So far, I still have the following issues:

- Having trouble scrolling
- Windows is slow
- MSN keeps stalling
- I can't remove the MSN Toolbar using add/remove programs
- My net connection is slow
- WS-FTP keeps stalling on me (so far 8 times tonight)
- When the comp stalls, CTRL/ALT/DEL doesn't do a thing and the only option is to just shut off the computer

I ran AdAware and had it fix the some problems.  I also run CleanUp and CCleaner twice a day.  I have AVG and it hasn't picked up anything.  I have 8 days left on ZoneAlarm Pro and so far it has blocked 3142 access attempts, 220 have been high rated.

Your log is clean, nothing malicious in there

As for your other issues, Run the System File Checker

Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow   ( sfc if not reconized)

This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem. You will need your Windows cd.

Let me know

I don't have a windows CD.  I bought this thing off my old neighbour for $25 and forgot to pick up the backup disc.  I guess I just need to get my other one fixed.  Sad

So far, it's letting me scroll better now but when I use IE, I'm getting a few pop ups still.  I had to delete ZoneAlarm because it was seriously messing up my website.

Thanks for your help Cheesy

I have ZoneAlarm and clicked on your website and had no problems. What problems were you having? I strongly suggest using a firewall other than Windows firewall if you are connecting via broadband

When I had ZoneAlarm, it was interfering with uploading the site.  Nothing was transferring properly.  1/2 of my photos just wouldn't show up.  Everything has been fine since I got rid of ZoneAlarm.  I tried disabling it when I used the FTP, that started to work but then the site got knocked out again!

I was chatting to another webmaster and she said it was the strangest thing she ever heard of.  I don't get it either.  I'll try putting ZoneAlarm back in.
