I've done a search on google but I haven't been able to find a solution for it. I had been using OfficeXP and then upgraded to Office2003 but the same problem occurs.

The problem is after I'm done using with Excel and PowerPoint and closing the program. I get "Microsoft Office Excel/PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to be closed." I can't figure out why. Word used to do that but that was fixed due to the Normal.dot file but what about excel and powerpoint?

It only happens to excel and powerpoint. I do not have the same problem with word or frontpage.

Thanks for any help Smiley

Um... I think I've found the problem... upon uninstalling and reinstalling through custom and advance mode. I think the VBA is causing my excel and powerpoint to crash. Is there any way around this or to fix it?

I fixed the problem. While installing I went into advance setup and checked off 2 options that dealt with VBA but now another problem popped up. Word is crashing. It crashes when I close and I got the "Microsoft Office Word encountered a problema and needs to close..." I've tried deleting normal.dot, deleting registry key and repair office in the installation but none has solved the problem. Does anyone know of another solution? Thanks for any help.
