PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:


Well, it's like this ......
I've gone and deleted all the files under
c:\documents and settings\thomas\local settings\temporary internet files one of which was a folder called CONTENT.IE5
I've googled content.ir5 and it says to get it reinstalled delete it from DOS.
I've rebooted in DOS but cant find it.
After I cd to c:\documents and settings\thomas I dont see the dir local settings.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

ps I cant even prevew this topic as it says content.ie5 is missing

The folder you are talking about won't show up for the logged on user, but if you have admin rights, you will see the other user's IE5 folder

Go to Control Panel->Add Remove Programs->Internet Explorer->Repair

When I setup our accounts on XP Home edition I set thm both up with admin rights and when I'm logged on as Thomas I can see everyones CONTENT.IE5 folder, but not mine.
Tried Control Panel>ADD/Remove Progs but IE is not there Huh?

Dazed and now confused

Would an attached hijackthis.log help ?

Log in as the other admin user and look for Thomas's content ie5 folder
