This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.  I am looking to connect my pc to my laptop so that the laptop can share the input of the mouse and keyboard.  I AM NOT LOOKING TO GET A SECOND DISPLAY FOR MY PC.  I want both computers to run independantly but share the mouse and keyboard.  I have seen people do this before by plugging in what looked like an s-video or PS/2 cord into thier laptop.  I have checked out programs like synergy and that is EXACTLY the behavior I want, but I was hoping for a hardware fix, since I don't want to have to be on the network and run a program.  Does anyone know what I need to do this???
