Hello and Welcome to MyTechSupport.ca

This program will tell me if your being hijacked.

Download and install:  HiJackThis.

(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders or Desktop. A good place to make a folder would be in My Documents, as this is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)

Then doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Do A System Scan And Save Log". Make sure all Windows and Browsers are closed.
When the scan is finished, best to save your text file in the same folder as where you put HiJackthis.
Copy/Paste the info from your saved Hijackthis log file into this thread.

***DO NOT TRY TO FIX ANYTHING, MAJOR DAMAGE CAN BE DONE TO YOUR SYSTEM IF THIS TOOL IS USED INCORRECTLY, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN ANALYST/MODERATOR TO GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS***

Hello again

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the HJT procedures below.

Download / Install / Update / and Run:
Adaware SE check for any updates before running it.
Get the plug-in for fixing VX2 variants. You can download it at this SITE
To run this tool, install to the hard drive, then open Ad-aware->Add-ons and select VX2 Cleaner. Then click Run Tool and OK to start it. If it's clean, it will say Status System Clean. Otherwise, you will have to click on the Clean button to remove the VX2 infection.

Download and install Spybot S&D . Run Spybot and click on the 'Search for Updates' button. Install any updates that are available. Next click on the 'Check for Problems' button. Let it run the scan. If it finds something, check all those in RED and hit the Fix Selected Problems button. Exit Spybot. If you keep getting the DSO Exploit entries, even after you updated Windows and fixed them, then download the Spybot DSO Exploit Fix and install it over the current Spybot installation.

Scan your pc with one of these free online scanners:
Panda ActiveScan
RAV AntiVirus
Housecall.  Be sure to put a check the box beside AutoClean.

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there.  Download CleanUp! (Alternate Link if main link don't work) and install it. You will use this later.

Turn off System Restore by doing the following:

Click Start > Right Click My Computer > Properties. Click the System Restore tab and Check "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives". Click Apply. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this then Click OK.

Go to My Computer >Tools >Folder Options >View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing / visible. Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files option.

Reboot your system in Safe Mode (By repeatedly tapping the F8 key until the menu appears).

Go into Hijack This->Config->Misc. Tools->Open process manager. Select the following and click Kill process for each one (You must kill them one at a time).

C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
C:\Program Files\eDonkey2000 Lite\edonkey2000.exe
C:\Program Files\Ares\Ares.exe

Click > Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs and uninstall the following programs:

Viewpoint Manager
eDonkey2000 Lite------A peer to peer application for sharing files over the Internet. The free version of this application should be avoided as it installs, without permission, New.Net, Webhancer, WebSearch Toolbar, and WinTools.

Ares----P2P Filesharing Client

I was just informed that you have a nasty hijacking in your system,  install a firewall ASAP to block the transphere of their data to that IP..

There's already been a few cases were identity theft has occured and monies withdrawn from back accounts. This is a massive identity theft ring!

Download Zone Alarm ASAP

If you already have a firewall you do not need an addtional one. Please contact your ISP and question this
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{DB61C532-C208-4EE2-A215-441BED790306}: NameServer = 209.244.0.3 209.244.0.4

You use Peoplepc for your ISP correct?

I looked over your log again, it seems to be clean.
When you get the chance turn off system restore them turn it back on. This will wipe all restore points prior to this cleaning.
Let me know how its running
