hey i have boradband from wanadoo connected through wireless to a router which then goes through the regular british telecom line. i need to know is it possible to still use broadband and sky television when the fone line is hooked up so it can only receive incoming calls and is not able to make outoging calls.

no, it is not possible to use the phone while u are watching something. it should b the same here in australia, coz thats wat happens here.

no i aint asking if i can watch and surf at same time, of coursre i can do that, im asking if i can use boradband when fone line is set to incoming calls only.

I don't think that you can recieve incoming calls whilst using your broadband connection, as it is using the same line.
Why don't you use a mobile and call yourself whilst surfing, it will probably get your answer?

i dont think you are reading properly...of course i can recieve calls when im online....we had a huge fone bill so we are stopping all outgoing calls, we cant call any1 except 999...all i want to know is....can my broadband make an outgoing connection when the line is set to incoming calls only...

I doubt it, but there is only one way to know for sure...

(assuming you're using DSL and it's going through your phone line of course)
