I didn't receive a reply to a previous posting about what to buy in a new computer, so will post again.

I am hoping to buy a new computer system within the next 6 months, and wonder if anybody has advice on what to buy.  Is there one brand to consider above another?  I just want to have an all around good system that will do a variety of tasks.  I am retired....but enjoy emailing, internet searches, digital pictures, etc.

There's so many to choose from....Dell, Hp....and so on.  Would appreciate your opinions.

Thanks.

Whatever flavor of computer you buy,,consider getting it at futureshop,,I have purchased 3 systems from them (all AMD btw) and found their prices and quality and varieties near unbeatable,,the salesman there will help you decide on which to buy based on your needs.
PS I am not associated with them in any way.

Wayne:

Thanks so much for posting your comments regarding my query.  I know that my sons think that FutureShop is a great place to shop and we do have a store in Charlottetown, which is not too far away from where I live.

Have a nice weekend!
